I have added something new that I think many of you will appreciate, especially if you are looking for a more polished, professional way to present your photography.

You can now create Projects on the site. Each Project is displayed as a clean, full screen slideshow designed to feel like a proper portfolio presentation. Your bio and contact information appear directly below the slideshow,  giving viewers an immediate sense of who you are and how to reach you.

This feature is meant to make the site more useful not just as a community space, but as a true hosting platform for your professional work. If you want to share a curated body of images, send a portfolio to a client, or simply present your photography in a more intentional way, Projects are built for that.

Here are a couple of examples so you can see how they look:

Every Project you view will automatically include the photographers bio and contact details if they have added it to their profile. You’ll also find quick share link icons for Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Reddit, and a simple copy link option.

If you’d like to create a Project, the process is straightforward.

Start on your dashboard and open the Projects section in the left hand menu. If you haven’t created one before, you’ll get a message saying no Projects are found. You will  need to go into the Edit Albums & Projects  editor. From there, choose to Create new album or project, give it a name, and save it.

You’ll then be taken to the Project Manager, where you can activate the slideshow view by checking the Slides box for the project you just created. Once that’s applied, you can begin adding images. Select Manage album or project photos, and you’ll see your full library. Scroll down to the Album / Project area, choose the project you want the image to belong to, and apply the update.

One small tip: if you’re on Windows or macOS, hold Ctrl or Cmd while selecting the project name so the image stays in any other albums or projects it already belongs to.

When you return to your dashboard, you’ll notice a new Project counter in your Stats area. Clicking that number will take you directly to your completed Projects.

And if you prefer a different visual style, remember that you can switch themes at any time using the Display Settings option in the top menu.
